PANTO VILLAIN

I am a villain, brave and bold,
With crimes un-numbered, sins un-told.
I prey on both the young and old,
Defy me if you dare!
And oft young maidens I've cajoled
Until their fortunes I controlled,
Then ran off with their jewels and gold.
So heroines -- beware!

I am a villain, all deceit.
Oh, how I love to lie and cheat!
My schemes have never known defeat,
I'm master of my trade.
And if the hero I should meet
I'll lure him into my retreat,
And chain him by his hands and feet
Until the ransom's paid.

I am a villain, through and through,
With magic powers hitherto
Unknown without a witches brew.
(I've tried 'em once or twice.)
And at some secret rendezvous,
My evil plotting I'll pursue,
To grab the girl, or maybe -- you!
Now wouldn't that be nice?

So when the clocks at midnight chime,
You'll find me working overtime
To perpetrate my latest crime,
Disguised with mask or scarf.
And as I slither from the slime
And wallow in the grease and grime,
I'll wreck your village pantomime!
(Exit, with evil laugh.)
