I'M BORED!

I used to have two animals at home, both of them at school.
And every summer, in the holidays, like wolves howling at
the moon, they would sing this sad refrain.

I'm bored!
I'm bored...
I'm feeling alone and ignored.
I can't call for Jamie, he's off to the sea.
I'm bad friends with Peter, and won't play with Lee.
And Martin's a cissie, and won't play with me!
I'm bored.
I'm bored.

I'm bored!
I'm bored...
My best friends have gone off abroad.
I hate staying in, and don't want to go out.
There's nothing to do except hanging about.
I think I'll just stay here, and glower and pout.
I'm bored...
So bored.

I'm bored!
Really bored!
I've muttered and mumbled. I've swored!
Can't even play cricket -- I've broken my bat.
I've read all my books and I've tortured the cat,
Till Mother came in and she made me stop that!
I'm bored.
Really bored.

I'm bored.
Stupendously bored!
I've ranted and raved and I've roared.
I fell in some nettles while climbing the trees;
Got bit by the dog when I started to tease.
Now I've got to stay in -- 'cos I've gone and got fleas!
I'm bored.
Sooooooooooo bored!
